Headlight out NEED SOME HELP
« on: June 10, 2013, 04:03:47 PM »
I had a headlight go out on my way over to Idaho last week. I have the AandR HID's. I pulled some plastic off and everything looked good, fuses, wiring, so I figured it was the bulb. I called AandR last week and ordered a couple new bulbs. Kudos for the fast delivery, they showed up in the mail today.

Plug in the new bulb and still NO WORK  :(

AandR is closed today so I figured I could look to you guys for some suggestions on what to do next.

Thanks,

You may be right. I plugged in the stock bulb and it works fine. I guess I will try the ballast off of the right side.

EDIT:
I plugged my original HID bulb into the other ballast and it works fine.  :)

Now I have to wait for AandR to open tomorrow to have them send me a new ballast, and I have two extra bulbs if mine ever do go bad.

Jay your in luck, if yours go out we have replacements.

Got a ballast in the mail today plugged it in and lit up my garage  ;D

Put everything back together just in time for the :censored: rain tomorrow.  >:(

I was really hoping somebody would say check the inline fuse to the bulb.... wishful thinking huh?

Thanks for your input g,
