It looks cool, but it is certainly not a battery. It is just a real tiny generator, with all the usual efficiency losses when changing from one energy form to another, in this case chemical (fuel) to electrical.  Love the video,though, that's funny!!

I agree with the assessment, and let me say that Red Green is awesome. And also that it's still really neat. And also that I hear the possum squealin', so it must be dinner time.
