Title: New C14 owner from Portland OR
Post by: Forty9rlifer on March 02, 2014, 04:44:45 PM: Just picked up my 2013 C14 this last Friday afternoon. Went in to test drive the Ninja 1000 and Concours back to back thinking I was 80-90 % sure I'd be driving home on the ninja. Needless to say the comfort and features of the Concours won me over, I would have had to replace a ton of parts on the 1000 and it still wouldn't have been close.

I left my Yamaha Warrior to pick up the next morning only to have a huge rainstorm make its way in much sooner than expected, without a doubt the most miserable motorcycle ride (downpour 70 Miles no rain gear) in my 20 years on 2 wheels.

I've been doing a TON of searching and reading on here the last 2 days and there I some great info here, and it looks like there are more than a few pacific northwesters here as well. Look forward to some group rides and whatnot.

I've got some questions regarding PCV vs. Guhl flash with a full system I'll post at some point in the proper forum.

That would be a fair assessment of my NFL ties. Hopefully my fellow NW C14 riders can overlook this, I'm a Bay Area transplant when I was 12....born and bred.
