Hi all so prior to getting the concours I had an 2003 st1300 but since I got the concours I’m loving it and the green color is my favorite. Previous owner had the seat Lowered professionaly 1 1/2” and the computer reprogram done by Shoodaben Engineering with the mountain runner reprogram. I’ve done a couple of trips one around eastern Washington state and a more recent trip into Canada to whistler and down through the fraser river canyon. I’m averaging over 47 MPG I can’t believe the mileage is so good on this size of bike. Anyway after putting some miles on the bike I’m thinking I’d rather either have a stock hight seat or maybe the Kawasaki touring seat anyone interested in a trade for a lower seat let me know. Also just turned 20500 miles and I don’t think the previous owner had done a valve adjustment not sure anyway what your opinion should I be concerned to get one done are they normally very much out of spec? Thanks for any help and glad to be here

Welcome to the forum. I dig that green! Not very stealthy, but it I dig it. Lots of help here for just about any questions that might come up. Plus, the search function is a huge help and can guide you in the right direction.

Congrats on the new bike! Just ride the thing. Those valves can be checked and adjusted later. Like when it's cold out. 8)

That sounds like a good idea
