Front and rear extenders for anyone who needs one.  :)   Translation - Anyone who doesn't have them on their bike. Especially on the front with that naked vulnerable radiator.

Just got a large order of plastic and the good news is that it has not gone up in price yet. Postage has risen slightly but at this point will not affect prices for a little while.  :)

I don't know how I missed this thread over the past 2 1/2 years, but after having to deal with road grime and bunged up lock mechanism on my trunk, I am looking forward to getting the front and rear extenders installed on my bike.

I know it's been here but all this talk of late...

How difficult is it to remove the rear fender to install the rear fender extender?

Iirc, it can be installed without removing the oem, if you use a dremel to drill the holes. I was going to install one but decided to fab one on my own because I did my trailer hitch, whick makes a perfect frame for my home made version. I do like the way his looks tho, just make sure you use fasteners that allow removal on the road, in case you have to pull the wheel off away from the homefront.

I just so happen to have a Dremel..circa mid-70s but it still works.

Didn't think about tire removal.  Guess it is time to get a lift with the rear wheel door.  I don't pull the wheel on the road.  If I can't plug it, it gets towed.
