Any Los Angeles-ish rides coming up
« on: April 12, 2015, 11:54:32 PM »
See subject. :-)

Adding to my short post:

I've been looking for group rides in Los Angeles that aren't squids or Hog only type groups.
It is hard. My Sunday rides are fun but would be great if I could do some rides with others sometimes.

Hey William!

I am in the Berdoo Mtns.  Interested in maybe going for a ride, but nothing organized that I know of.

I was looking at motorcycleroads.com and saw a 220mile loop starting in Ventura.  Goes up into the hills then down the coast.  Going to give it a try in June.

I'm in the LA area. I'm up for a ride from time to time
I try to get out most weekends but work sometimes interferes (like this weekend)

Well then...

How about Saturday May 30?  We will pick a start location depending on who is coming.

Reply to this thread, and I will put together a nice route and announce details Monday.
Unless somebody else wants to.

What do you all think of the loop?  Worth it for someone who has limited time in the state?

I have ridden on all of those roads.  101 is nothing special through there, but the rest of the loop is quite nice.  Including a ride by the "Smallest Post Office in the USA".  One of several that lay claim to that title.

Not exactly LA-ish.  Several hundred miles from me, so count me out.  Enjoy!

I love this area with a detour thru Santa Inez wine country. I would be willing after Cortez.

I'll be on my 250.  Wouldn't want to show you guys up on the twisty roads anyway.  LOL!

Working in Ventura, then will head up to Big Sur to camp and ride for a few days before heading home.

Any day spent on the 2 (Angeles Crest Hiway) out of La Canada is a good one. Weekdays are far better due to traffic.
