Why not fly and ride it home.  Plenty of places selling them at $3000 off MSRP.  Got my 2012 at Sportcycles in Rockingham, NC. 

It is a sporttouring bike.  What better way to start out than touring on it.  Ride the entire Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, and backroads through PA and NY to get it home.

I flew to New England from Tampa in Feb to pick up mine.
