If you have any problems getting the glue to stick you can also go to an auto parts store and buy some of that 3M  body tape.  It works just as good and less messy.

I have commented on the other posts regarding installation of my fender extenders however somehow I missed this one.

What I have to say about this is ABSOLUTELY NOT.  :)  I don't know if I can be any clearer. DO NOT attempt to install my fender extenders in this fashion using trim tape.

It sticks well but will not last and be effective  over the long term. The extender will fall off and be gone if you try this.

Gluing with proper ABS glue is the only way to go as per my instructions.

And again, no screws or rivets needed on the front fender extenders.

Deal available when you order both front and rear extenders. Separately they come to $105. ($45 for the front and $60 for the rear) These prices include mailing to your address in the US.

Other countries can be shipped to for a little more.

I will send both in one box for $95 US.   :)  Thats a deal  ;)

Front and rear extenders still available, just send me a message to order.  :)  Plastic is in stock again and prices have not gone up so that is a good thing.

Are front and rear extenders still available, and prices for the pair shipped ? They look like important additions for foul weather and radiator protection.

Yes, still available, I'll send you a PM.  Front is usually $45 and rear $60.  Both sent in one box is $95. Includes cost of mailing the package. (price increase on the package deal reflects an increase in the cost of shipping)

Summer is almost here and I am winding down to enjoy it myself. I will be around checking messages from time to time and if I am out on the road myself I may be a little slow to respond or fill orders however a little patience will pay off as I will get back to you.

Ride safe and happy summer adventures.

Larry, I couldn't be happier with the rear extension.
It looks great! I sprayed both parts with bedliner, which made them look uniform in appearance.
I'll let you know when I put the front on.
Thanks again, ride safe, and have a great summer.

Looks good Jerry, hope the bedliner stays put and doesn't peel off.  :)  Glad you like them.   Larry.

Hi Larry
I love your fender extender and have had mine all season.
Not only does it help protect the Rad. It keeps my headers cleaner.

Thanks Andre, I had that in mind when I designed it along with protecting the oil filter and lower bodywork as well.

I would have to disagree that the huggers don't do anything...the rear spinning tire acts like a big air pump and pushes air forward and hinders the flow of hot air off the rear of the engine, so adding a hugger actually improves the flow of hot air and keeps the engine a few degrees cooler.

The subject of this thread is not huggers and I will disagree with you there. What you have said would be true if the rear of the engine was open to and exposed to the rear tire, which it is not.

Given that the rear tire spinning will have little effect on cooling.

My rear fender extender also has nothing to do with cooling rather it aids in keeping the road spray down and helps keep the back of the bike cleaner.
