Title: 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 “One Millionth” Special Edition
Post by: Gumby on December 28, 2012, 10:24:06 AM
Suzuki launched the GSX-R series 27 years ago, in 1985, and earlier this year produced its one-millionth unit. To mark the milestone, the OEM introduced the GSX-R 1 Million Commemorative Edition ($13,999).

Based on a standard GSX-R1000, this particular model is outfitted with a serial production plate, red-anodized front fork caps, gold-colored front fork outer tube, red rear suspension spring, black front brake calipers with red Brembo lettering, pin stripes on the wheels, a single seat cowl and a special key fob with “R” logo.

The GSX-R 1 Million Commemorative Edition will be limited to a production run of 1,985 units. Incredibly, 1,000 of those units are headed for the U.S – the GSX-R’s largest market.
