Moonshine Lunch Run
« on: January 20, 2015, 05:16:28 AM »
Moonshine Lunch Run  Moonshine, Illinois this year is Satrurday April 11th.  Been riding on a Goldwing the last couple years.  Plan on riding my Concours this year.  It has most of the body panels off, adding a few farkles and redoing some messed up wiring from previous owner. Hope to get the rest of my parts in this week.
  Who all planning on coming?

I went a couple years ago.  Crossed it off the Bucket List.  You'd be better off on the wing.  The roads are boring and the deer plentiful, even in the daytime.  The burgers were awesome!

We did cross into Kentucky via a little ferry across the Ohio River.  Then the roads got real interesting.  I guess sometimes you have to ride the straight flat roads to appreciate the curves.

Turn 15, section 5, row 5, seat 1 reserved, plus GA.   :)

Plan is to get to Bastrop on Wednesday, check out 3 Sisters on Thursday, then 3 days at the track.   :chugbeer:

I'll be wearing a Rossi t-shirt.  You can't miss me!!!!   :rotflmao:

Any local knowledge to share?  Food mostly  ;D

Might make Moonshine lunch happen next year.  Too bad it doesn't hapen around the time of Indy MotoGP.   :(
