Working the corners at the Superbike Races at Laguna Secca
« on: July 18, 2015, 12:26:10 PM »
I am not sure if this has been posted lately, but you can sign up to work the corners as a flagman or other duty at the FIM Superbike Races at Laguna Secca. Of course it is too late for this year as the races are this weekend. I did it a few years ago when the MotoGP was still at the track. We got free camping and got paid $200 for the work. I was a flagman assistant at the corkscrew, turn #8. It was a blast seeing Rossi and Lornezo et. al. going around the corners.

You sign up through the U.S. Auto Race Marshalls (www.usarm.org) web site. You have to join the organization for one year, but the fee is minimal.
