C-10 Center Stand
« on: June 11, 2017, 04:13:53 AM »
Went to put the bike on the CS a few days ago on the road and the entire LH lever just bent to the ground.......

I can heat-beat-weld it back, but if someone's got one cheap I'd rather just replace it as time is short.

I think I have one.  Maybe $25 if I do?  Shipping is probably crazy though.  I'm in 22079.

Furbo, I know of 2 GCE Folks in Austria, and another in England that might have a spare stand.
I sent you a PM.

Ride safe, Ted

Update: I contacted Ralf and he will look to see if he has a spare center Stand.

Hey, not sure how I missed this, but that sounds fine. I'm an Army guy so have an Armed forces post Office (APO).  It costs no more than mailing stateside. my 'zip is 09630

Ok, I'll try to remember tonight to see if it's in the shed with some other frame stuff.  PayPal Ok if I find it?

Todd, I didn't realize you were Army.
My thought of a person in Austria was to beat shipping costs.
With an APO shipping from USA would have been EZ..
Best of luck.

PS: Watch out for that RFH_87 guy.
He's sneaky, and (as much as I hate to admit it) also, a Buddy of mine.
(Don't tell him I sed that)

Ride safe, Ted

It was right there where I thought it was!  It looks perfectly used, just unbolted and set aside.  There are no bends or weld cracks.  Like I said, I was just saving it for myself in case I needed it.  I have to find a box somewhere.  It's kind of a funny shape.

Yep,

that's it. Mine's just like it....except the down tube attached to the lever is literally almost twisted off.

Hey Ted!  Glad to hear from you.  I've been thinking about you since last week.  Were you effected by the storm?  I hope them cars stayed dry.  Send me an email or PM.
