Looks just like the last time I saw her ;)

Suggestion, get the stock shield (and the two retainer plates) painted green on the inside to match the rest of the bike.  That barn door is gonna look out of balance otherwise.

That's my PNW "winter" shield Chet, coming soon hopefully I'll be able to put my shorter "summer" shield back on...  ;D 8)

Absolutley beautiful early March day in the PNW today, blue sky, sunny, and upper 50's...  :)
So you take the bike out of the garage to take pictures?  :loco:

I rode all day  8) Great day when your going down Marine Dr. with Mt. Hood in the rear-view mirror and ya run into four buddies doing the same thing.

Not at all bro, did over 100 miles today myself trying to get the gas out of the tank for the swap.  :chugbeer:

Why didn't you call me bro?  :(  The old man flew out at like 4, so I was free from 1 on...

It's supposed to rain all next week, and then the following week she goes in for the Green plastic surgery, so I thought it fitting to give her one last wash and take some photo's, these will most likely be the last photo's you ever see of her with the oem painted bodywork on... :chugbeer:

Nope, I'm not tired of black at all Chet, I just most likely won't go back to the oem painted black, but I could see me having a custom black of some sort set of bodywork...  8)

This thread is getting a bit off topic.  Let's veer it back to ZG's paint project 'only' please.

You know, You are going to need a matching helmet. Did You give one to the paint shop, to match to the other parts?
2008 C14, Area-P carbon fiber, PCV, Rostra Cruise, LAAM leather seat, Optilux 1500 & MondoMoto MM10 lights, Cee Bailey windshield, BMC air filter, Warm & Safe dual dash mounted heat troller.

That might be cool JM.  8)

But I have a black helmet purposely so that it goes with which ever bike I'm riding...  ;)

Nope, sorry bro, after I pick up the bodywork it needs to sit for about a week to harden up a bit more before being handled for the install...  :(

I do have the install appt all set up for next week though!  :)   :chugbeer:

I think you need this for your shock:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dimotiv-gold-absorber-adjuster-cover-Kawasaki-GTR1400-rizoma-/130853643588?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item1e777c2544

Not sure how it would fit though.  What color hardware are you using?  Gold?
