Title: Ride Around Australia 9,320 Miles in 5 Weeks (on a Road Star)
Post by: Glennn on February 13, 2012, 01:23:38 AM
Hi Guys,

I've been hanging out here for a bit and thought you might like my blog from when I rode around Australia with 50 other motorcyclists in 2010.  I'll admit it was on a Yamaha Road Star, but in 2013 I am seriously thinking about doing the lap again on a 1400GTR.

First few days were slow as I posted from an iPhone, but pick up after Townsville.

Nice writeup. I have spent some time in Australia working. Mostly with Pacific National and Queensland Rail (Moranbah-Sarina-Mackay area) and BHP Billiton in Port Hedland.
I would really like to be able to make a lap around Australia like you did. On the GTR, not the Yammy.
