Once you go black ... um ... you might go back ... and then you might go back to black again ... and bring some lime green with you?

And spend a lot of green doing so?

She's all done and back home!  :)

I can't for the life of me get this neon green to show well in crappy phone pics though, sorry but this is all you get for now, I'll try to figure out a setting on a real camera to get it to show the true color... You'll have to just trust me that it is freakin neon glow, these pics make it seem much more washed out and docile than it is in person!!

The latest combination looks awfully good but I'm still holding on the green bodywork from a couple of months ago.

Now quit being such a wuss and paint it white---with maybe some light smoke gray in the appropriate places . ;)

Hell--you're about to run out of the other colors.

Maybe pink wheels.  It'll be on the cover of a magazine for breast cancer awareness--which ain't a bad thing.

Nah--I don't think we can ask ZG to go that far.

Pearl white with some smoke gray accents or graphics thrown in would look sweet.

That's my vote for the next incarnation.

I like the green too PM, and still have it all boxed up, I'm sure it will come back around in the rotation bro!  ;) :) :chugbeer:

I do like white bikes as well, but on the Connie it just looks too much like a LEO bike...  :-\

The thing I really like about this setup is it also allows me to do other minimal swaps outs in the future to get the same result but with other highlight colors. I could powder coat up another set of wheels in say blue or red etc and then paint some badges to match and put those on 4 more black panels (tail sides and outer mids) and paint up 2 more inner mids with the vents to color match as well and be done. Then it's just a matter of swapping out those 6 panels and the wheels and walla another color combo with a different highlight color! Much easier an less expensive than a full body swap!
I'm already thinking about the next highlight color to do with this black bodywork...  ;) ;D :chugbeer:

That looks sharp in the black and green.
Do you know what is best about your bike though?
It's the attention to detail. You think about stuff most don't and it is obvious that every part and scheme has been scrutinized to achieve the best results. I love it!
No, really, she is the best and I can prove it...

Connie has been sold. Replaced with 2013 Aprilia Tuono V4 APRC

Thanks brother, I'm glad you like it and can appreciate all the little details on the different color schemes!  :) :chugbeer:

I don't feel like this latest black-&-lime-green color scheme is gettin' as much e-love as might've been expected, so I'm hereby making a suggestion for your next.

Here's the 2014 ZX14R in the white Ohlins scheme. Please omit flames if you do this  :-\ ... although gold emblems and a gold highlight or 2 might work; you've already got gold wheels, gold forks, gold rotor brackets and gold-ish exhaust pipes.
