Plus 1 on plugs and fork oil. Maybe clean and inspect the drive damper?

Loaded my Connie and ZX14R onto my trailer. Headed down to the twisty stuff in Arkansas.

I finally bought a house in TX and my C14 will soon have a garage again.
Congrats on the new home.  Are you making the state your permanent place of residence now?

Jimmymac, enjoy your time in Arkansas.  Hear the roads and scenery are great.  Be safe.  tp

Cool, bet you will miss the mountain roads, but the hill country roads are lots of spirited fun, too.  tp

Going out of town for next  several days.  Have to take the car.  No riding until going to work Sunday evening.  Gonna miss it, for sure.   A great and safe weekend to all.  tomp

ordered it a new rear Shinko Verge X2 Bud and I put 60 miles on the back roads yesterday.  We weren't fighting for the roadstar at swaps.  We've been riding together for a while.

I did one of those conversion thingys on the web.  Did it again and came up with 124.274238 mph.  I hate the metric system.  Can't figure anything out at all.

200 kph is equal to 124.27 mph :)
I used this one http://convertercentral.com/length-conversion

I think you can just divide your speed in kph with 1.61 to get your speed in mph (since 1 mile is equal to about 1.61 km)

Long division requires more than just fingers :)

OK, head math   Let's say you are going 80 kph Take the  first digit or 8   X 6 = 48 MPH
  5 kph = 3 mph   .5 x 6 = 3
So If you're doing 75 kph 7x6=42 MPH  +3 = 45 MPH. easy enough?

Hey, not bad but did you ever think of using Roman numerals? No remainder or fractions.... evah!

So for your example, that would be LXXX kph, divided by I (actual is 0.621371 but it rounds to 1- remember, no fractions or decimals) equals.... LXXX MPH! Slick, huh? So if you are doing 80 kph, you can directly and easily convert that to 80 MPH.

:-)

I agree there.  By early 70's was married and in retail mgt, so had to pay attention.  All things within limits by then.   Half way into my 7th decade (65) now, and to me, the 70's decade was the best for me.

Sounds like you missed your free all expenses paid official government party and tour of southeast Asia. I drew a #10 draft member but they canceled the draft before my birthday  Whew.

Wife and I took the Connie out for 80 miles in the rain today, her first Connie ride. My second ride since it's revival.   She said rain what rain? I don't feel no rain.  She's quite impressed by accommodations in the rear suite.   Oops wrong forum  LOL  The K1200LT has her vote. Don't let your wife near one!

Yep, I was #254, living in a town of 100K.  I was 1H from 1970 to the end of the draft.  K1200LT is a cool ride, but a bit heavy to push around the garage/parking lot, for male or female riders.  Connies are much easier to handle.... tp
