Harley mufflers on a C10
« on: October 16, 2014, 08:19:47 AM »
Here's a couple of pictures of my Connie with Harley Softail mufflers.  I picked up the whole exhaust system for $25.00 with less than 200 miles on them.  Another twenty bucks for brackets and beverages and now a little more rumble!

Does your bike show a sudden urge to stop at a bar every 50 miles?

Here's what they sound like:

I am pleased with the out come.  Especially the cost; less than $50.

So far no urges to go bar hopping, no oil drips, no dinky helmet, no trailer queen and not afraid of riding in the rain!

I cut the head pipes from the Harley to connect from the Connie's header collector to the mufflers.  And also used the Softails chrome shields to smooth the transition to the mufflers.

Ride Safe,

Eddie

Looks good and I like the growl. Did you notice other improvements aside from the sound?

I haven't noticed any other improvements other than the growl.  These mufflers have the catalytic converters in them, so I'm guessing they have the same amount of back pressure as stock so they probably breath the same.  Thanks for the compliments.  It was easy and fun to do, and I  like the looks also along with the added growl.

Ride safe,

Eddie
