I was busy yacking with another Floriduh steve(about his latest project, RV mover), we thought it would be good to meet up in July for another breakfast.
Short notice and all, we'll just use a place we've used before, cuz it's good.

Saturday, July 16th. 10am.
Will be stopping for a short break at "The Lake Lindsey Mall", at the corner of Co 476 and Co 581, plan on departing the mall about 9am.
Will leave my house, 669 Woodview DR, Tavares, at 730 sharp. Anyone caring to stop by for Margie's coffee at about 7 and ride over is more than welcome.

Steve- You're breaking my heart with these RTE's which I cannot make since I'm back in NY. I've heard great things about Sleepy Hollow from a friend in C. River but have not been there yet. Perhaps you can schedule another RTE in Jan.-Feb.-Mar-Apr. for the snowbirds. Have a good time!

Well, a little over 250 miles altogether, great to see everyone and good fixins'.
My rain dance worked, rode in and out of heavy rain 75% of the way home. It was all good, and better than the heat and humidity. Didn't even bother with the Frog Toggs until it got real heavy (actually got a little chilly) about 40 miles from the house.
Good riding, good company and good food, a great day for a ride!

Great to see everyone. Really nice ride to and from, until the rain hit! Even my encounter with Officer Friendly....the bike gods were looking out for me!

I was gonna head down to SiSF's house, changed my mind about half way there and high tailed it home. No liquid humidity on me.
See, there is a twisty road or three in Flatistan, ya just gotta know where to go.

Yeah, I got dunked big time. Busted up 19 to 98, turned left into a big ole rain storm. Grabbed the Suncoast Pky south and didn't break out of THAT gator gusher until about 20 miles later. Then, all the rest of the way home super slabbing it, it was about 10-20 miles of no rain (wet roads), then about 30+ of rain, repeat, sometimes frog strangling. Fortunately no sign of visible or audible lightning ;)
Good times though, it was definitely a lot different then the heat and humidity ;D

Hey Mike, I can see that the sensation of speed is really lessened by the camera. I know how we were running out there, and it looked slow on the vid. interesting. Cool that you can do this stuff! steve

I can tell you that mike and I were running 80+ most of the way out there. there was the part on the vid going out to the outpost that looks slow, but I was there, and it wasn't :o Steve
