Gotcha..hmmm strange though, it's the only one that does it but it's the only 3-way I use.

Maybe you should use only 2 of the 'ways' from now on.  Less heat that way...     :D

You don't hear Mrs. VirginiaJim laughing just a little bit everytime you have to tighten that thing? Wake up man, someone is pulling your chain!

Brian

I have no clue why my 3-way fl bulb in my table lamp unscrews enough so that it doesn't work.  I have to keep tightening it up.  What's up with that?

Yeah, you'd think physics would be a bit more evenly spread out.... Maybe you've got one of those spots like on 'My Cousin Vinnie' where the laws of physics cease to exist at that top of that particular lamp?

Let's not go any further with the "3 way" thing, OK?

Are you thinking that perhaps there's a quantum bubble around Jim's lamp?

We had our first real snowfall yesterday. The day started out around 45 (I rode) and ended up falling to around 25 by sundown with a BUNCH of snow. It's 15f right now with lots of snow and ice on the roads. No riding today.   :(

You know, it just feels like this is going to be a snowy winter compared to last year which was about zilch for us.  I've already started getting the snow blower ready...

I hope that you're right Jim. I pulled the snowmobiles out of the garage last weekend and they're both ready to roll.   :)

I don't usually get that attitude until just after Thanksgiving..  Bit early for that just yet....but I do appreciate the sentiment.

Why not? I might be retired tomorrow and have more time. (26 more working days  ;D )

I just found an old can of Huberds shoe grease (last used around 1980 on a pair of corks).  Gonna break in a new pair of Aerostitch Combat Lights tomorrow and the grease just works miracles.  Paid $2.30 at a local Ernst store, smells just as good today as it did back then :)
