Bummer for you C, low 70's blue sky and full sun here in the beautiful PNW.  8)
It is very odd to hear "no rain in the seven day forecast" every morning in October. The bike is going to see lots of pavement this winter if this keeps up.

I am almost as happy as this girl.

Cat went in for surgery today. Bladder stones. I can't believe, I'm like a worried father.

Just heard from the doctor. Surgery went well and she is up and alert. I get to pick her up later today, she must be isolated so the other kitties don't try to beat her up like they usually do. :)

I just replaced the fan in my Lenovo T60P.  I feel pretty good about it.  Only took two weeks of procrastination which is not bad for me.  There's a bazillion screws of all sizes that you have to take loose and I only had one long left over.  It works and the fan is now silent and operational.  I only wish I could find the external power supply now..

I have no clue why my 3-way fl bulb in my table lamp unscrews enough so that it doesn't work.  I have to keep tightening it up.  What's up with that?

When the lamp turns on, the parts of the bulb base and socket heat up, causing them to expand. However, not all parts heat at the same rate. In addition, the parts are made from different materials which have different expansion charactistics. Thus the parts change size, but not in perfect synchronization, which creates internal stresses that push on the bulb, loosening it or tightening it.

Gotcha..hmmm strange though, it's the only one that does it but it's the only 3-way I use.
