Nosmo threw one out there- I do not know the quote but the game is on......

Brian

I know that nobody likes a stickler for the rules...(that's why max' is so popular  :D ), but this thread just isn't going to survive if we don't follow them.

Peter Graves as the pilot Captain Oveur in "Airplane", one of the funniest flicks EVER.

Really?...what's wrong with me that I can't find it?...never mind... rhetorical question. We don't need to get this thread off topic in a multi page listing of my problems.
..anyway, the only one I see outstanding is by mikey' :
"you can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause"

answer: A Night at the Opera; Chico Marx; Fiorello

the next one thrown out: ..."Keep after her. Be nice. Stop womaning around San Rafael! Treat her right. [pause..with look..] Take a bath sometime."

Opps, my mistake: the one I was thinking of was tossed out by Conniesaki:

And with yours, and Mike's, I do not know any of them so carry on everyone.... anyone.

Brian

Peter Sellers! Haha.

Next: "Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

Oh, OK. That one was answered here:
Peter Graves as the pilot Captain Oveur in "Airplane", one of the funniest flicks EVER.

....I'm trying to keep up, but I have no idea what mikey' is talking about with his last post, or about the Infamy" quote that was diverted by V'Jim earlier.
Was that in a movie or a Brit TV show mikey'?

My wife subscribes to Britbox, maybe she knows.

Yes, an excellent movie.

The character in that movie named Colour-Sergeant Bourne, played by Nigel Green, for me represents the 'British fighting man' who stood tall all over the world for 300 years. That is my mental image of the British during the climb and at the heights of their time as an empire.

Of course he was not British but South African but hey, in that red uniform, with the odd white hat, it is still the image my mind comes up with when I think of the British kicking ass and taking names all over the globe.

Zulu is one movie I can watch over and over again.   In fact, I think I'll watch it again.

Dirty Dozen, after Lee marvin said "shoot all the officers you see in there...." when they went into the "party".
I think it was said by John Cassavetes that gave the response....

new one coming up, hold on.....
