Movie quote thread

Identify the movie the quote appeared in and who said it (actor's name, character's name, or even just what charachter) and then throw the next one out.

Because I think of this as a PG or so forum, let's try to clean up some of the more harsh quotes with punctuation marks or underscores for some letters while retaining the actual words. If that is OK with the moderators of course.

An easy one to start off:

"If I'm curt with you, it's because time is a factor. I think fast, I talk fast, and I need you two guys to act fast if you want to get out of this. So pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the ****ing car.

And your quote came from 'Once upon a time in the West', and the person who said it was Henry Fonda. BTW: my favorite quote from that movie was something like 'We did not bring enough horses. To which Charles Bronson responds: 'No, you brought two horses too many.'.

Didn't it start out as a movie and then roll over into a series? So if it did start out as a movie, was that quote from the movie or the series?

I really do not care which, but you are jogging some really dusty parts of my memory here. IIRC, Bronson picked up a dark haired woman (the wife from Die Hard many years later?) who ran away from her own wedding. They traveled a bit, then came to a job site where they cleaned bricks of old mortar for money, and used the money to buy eggs. But she was too high- falutin' to clean bricks and of course ended up with no eggs, hence the quote. ?? And no cheating, going by memory here, so it might not be right. ??

Just plain' ole' Google for the better known quotes, and IMDB.

But hey, it is just a game so if someone wants to cheat, by all means, go for it. Besides, the interesting part for me is the jarring of memories reading quotes left by other people and no 'Net engine is going to help much in choosing good quotes to post in reply.

Sort of like the opening in The Twilight Zone (the movie from the '80's) where Dan Akroyd and the other guy (can't remember) are driving and talking about old scifi shows and get to arguing about whether a particular episode was a 'Zone or an Outer Limits (I think).

Well they called it a pilot, but yeah, I guess it was a TV movie. Sorry, I remembered the series but not the length of the first episode.

Sure but we do not seem to be doing too well with the movie quote thread so far..... :-)  If a TV show quote thread got 40% of the interest this thread is getting then it would only be getting (multiple by 0.4, carry the two, raise it to the cube, take the square root and....) no posts. 

We really need someone to do something to liven this place up. Anybody want to ride cross- country carrying a SPOT? That seems to have worked in the past.
