I think my cot is going to be the heaviest thing. I'm getting old and don't want to sleep on the ground. I'm probably just overthinking everything because I want it to go really well. Our campsites aren't more than an hour from a city anyway, should I need something.

That's the beastie. Makes it way simpler to attach accessories and chargers.

I have the MB18U in my C10 but I believe that the MBTX20UHD also fits the C10.

I should've been more specific. Got plenty of gear. Backpacking included. Done plenty of pack in camp trips and hunts. Used to carrying a lot of gear. Didn't know if people had any specific tips. Like I think I'm going to pack my sleeping bag right behind the front seat so I can have a bit of a back rest.
Since you will be carrying most of the gear (unless your better-half also rides a C14), don't forget to refer to your bike as "Luggage" at every opportunity.  :rotflmao:

When I used to camp I always put the tent on the back seat as that was the heaviest single item.
The sleeping bag(s) can go on top of the trunk or even on top of the side-bags as they are light.
The ideal is to keep the weight as low as possible as that improves handling and control.

Go to a back packing store. Camping gear for back packers is what you need for motorcycle camping.

Getting married in 6 weeks and we're going on a motorcycle camping tour of part of the state and Route 66 from one side of AZ to the other. Two people, two bikes, four days. Done plenty of camping, plenty of long riding, but motorcycle camping is new to both of us. Any suggestions?

To all his own
I love my 2012 c-14 I have 75k on the clock and it has been very reliable and enjoyable bike. But I can tell you the #2 used k1600 I test rode one 2012 w 10k  and 2018 56k were both smooth as silk the inline 6 is just a smooth, the biggest thing that impressed me was the suspension it's superior to the c-14. All the gadgets are nice but not what has drawn me to the bmw. I will keep my c-14 till after I have the k1600 just to be sure then it will be in the classified section :)

4 terminals so that the positive can be on the left or the right when looking at it. Both terminals at either end are just commoned together.
I like that idea.  I have so many farkles on my battery’s positive terminal that it’s tough to fit it all together.
