Do I need reflash for 18” delkovic cannister?
« on: February 22, 2018, 09:42:51 PM »
I had my stock ‘11 bike reflashed by Guhl five years.I’ll be putting a 18” delkovic on it. Will it making popping sounds on decel? Will I leave any hp on the table by no reflash for cannister?
I sent Guhl an email and haven’t heard back yet.

Expect it to decel pop. As far as the rest of the fueling it should be OK. Steve

Take a marble and plug the PAIR hose going into bottom of air box, no more decel popping. Don't forget to seal off PAIR hose hole into bottom of air box.

I added a 14" Delkevic a week ago and I need to do this to mine however the decel popping is not severe on mine at all.

Do all bikes have a pair hose or just CA models?
I have 49 state bike.

Installed it, took it for a ride. Got almost no pop. I’d let off throttle, coast in gear , nothing. The closest I got was riding in first and letting off throttle. It sounded like there might be some, slightly rumbly , but you had to listen for it.
