I stumbled across this on another forum, found it fascinating so I thought I would unashamedly steal it and share it on here

Hope you like it too...apologies if you have seen it before   :)

Yes, nice find!

Watching that I see that ATGATT is not something new. Still, he geared up faster than I do.  :-[  :( ::)

Yesterday we went over to the Kingman airport to look at a "flying fortress" a restored touring B-17G bomber that was here this weekend.

OK Jim you had B52 we had the V Bombers (Valeant Vulcan Victor)

The Victor is just a beautiful shape and when you consider the year it entered service very advanced.

HANDLEY PAGE VICTOR TRIBUTE

You had the Century Fighters we had the Lightning a plane that had a climb rate not bettered till the F15 era

A tribute to man and machine

Last Flight English Electric Lightning, Dave Stock
I used to work on Victors (along with Buccaneers, Harriers,  Tornados & Phantoms) when I worked at RAF St Athan, just missed out on Vulcans

I like Victors, but then again I like most British aircraft.

:goodpost: Awesome Jim! Barksdale is only 400 miles from home. I should have hoped on the Duc and went! Now I'm ready for a video of Fifi and Doc in formation. Would be the first B-29 formation in what? 50 years? Oshkosh this year maybe?

For those of you who consider the phrase "too many airplane pictures" to be an oxymoron, here is a great link: http://airshowstuff.com/v4/
