Title: Ideas and information about a proposed PNW Concours get together.

If anyone is interested in meeting up then please post up some ideas. My suggestion is to schedule the last weekend of August (Friday,Saturday, Sunday, Monday) or first weekend in September?

I'm in Portland, so anything in the Pac NW interest's me for this.

Is your intention for this to be just a day rip or an overnight event?? I vote for an overnight event if we get enough people intersted, I find bonding over brews always better, but I try not to mix brews and riding together anymore now that I'm older and wiser...

Thanks for putting this together, seems like the east coast guys always have Connie rallies, I've yet to see one on here for us. :banghead:

Rick,

Thanks for placing the post in the correct part of the forum.
Around 15th July-31st July is not possible for me due to a prior schedule need.

I agree that we should all try and get a brewski in on an overnight portion of a weekend.

Perhaps the first weekend in July or last weekend in June so please chime in with possible weekends. John Day seems a better place to stage and I could meet the Portland peeps and ride with them to JD.

I am planning to do this for a "long" day ride for our folks on this forum, so please feel free to put a route together.
My riding buddy (non C14) and I help out younger riders who are new to the world of motorcycling in order that they do not make themselves a statistic early on in life.

We tend to take these young guns out on shorter rides as they don't know who to deal with sun, hydration and the like.

Like that idea very much so I could meet in Monroe no problem ;D ;D

Would you like to do the 3 pass long day ride? I leave early, say 0530 am, and get breakfast in a little place I know along the route (teaser) ;D ;D

How long of a day ride is it? I have to come from Vancouver as well. Can stay in Tacoma for an overnite.

That is a great ride. Down south to Long Beach and along the Columbia is great too.

That's very nice of you. I have a friend in Tacoma to stay with and it would kill two birds, so to speak! Probably busy until your dates of Aug. Sept., but would be great then.
