Welcome! That's a beautiful machine.

Welcome to the forum.
Thanks guys, greetings from Romania! :chugbeer:

Europe gets all the cool colors.

Not at all.
Predominantly black and silver, some blue, green and bordo. Magnesium is in fact a very nice brown. When the sun shines it has shades of metallic pearl red, orange, as in photo.

Is the FoBo there because the tire sensors went out?  You do know you can replace the battery in those sensors.  It's not that difficult and can be done during a tire swap out.

The front sensor was missing when I bought the motorcycle. I know the batteries can be changed, but there were two reasons why I didn't want to buy it:
- honestly, I did not want to spend @ 180 euros on a single sensor!
- With 110 Euro I bought a much better system than the OEM.
Can show also the temperature inside the rubber and first of all, you don't need to run the bike, you have the pressure instant by bluetooth. I have also intercom and if one of the wheels lost the pressure I have alarm inside the helmet, via intercom.

Ok.  Any issues with balancing on the tires with those FoBo's?  Some of my Indian buddies use them on the bikes that didn't come with sensors.

No problem of any kind. I fitted the tires, put on the sensors and balanced the wheels.
It runs as smooth as silk.  8)

That's a pretty slick tank pad, I'm assuming that's not OEM?

Indeed.
It was made from a kind of resin, designed and customized according to my idea. There is not only on the tank, it is also glued on the side fairings, between the legs.
Not s-o cheap, around 120 euro, but it's a nice piece of art.

l.u.v. that's a great looking bike..

Are you aware of the GTR 1400 Expert Club in Europe.
One of our friends runs the club. {Raf / Magic}  I think he's in Belgium,  but members are from all over Europe.
It's a GTR 1400 only club.

There is also the GCE Club. {GTR Club Europe}
Centered primarily in Germany but their also from al over Europe.
Accepts all types of bikes, but started as GTR Only.

I ride with both clubs when I was over there. Good folks...

Can send you details to find them if you wish, or you can contact Boomer.
He'll have the details.

Ride safe, Ted

Hmmmm..."LOL" or not, I think I'm going to use my get out of jail free card and disagree with you on this. Assuming Boomer's info is correct and updated, he resides
in Wickford England on the Island of Great Britain. The Island of Great Britain is definitely in Northwestern Europe regardless if it's resident government is in the European Union
or Common Market or NATO or whatever political/military entanglements the residential government decides to be in of or out of. Excessive tectonic activity whereby the splitting
of the Eurasian plate takes place is the only thing* that can change that.

*Well, a bribe of proper proportion to a world geography body/association might start the ball rolling to a multi-decade debate which might change things eventually, since the whole thing about continents is defined by humans anyway. I mean if you look at a globe, we all live on islands, some are just a lot bigger than others.

However, I do think Europe got some cool colors that we here in the U.S. would have liked. I think that Dark green they got in 2011 would get me to trade in my 2010 model if it were to become available here in 2021.  ;)

Hi Ted!
First of all thanks for your consideration!
No, I didn't know about those fan clubs. I bought GTR1400 in October 2019.
Before this I  have owned for the 8 years a BMW K1200LT.
I will apreciate if you can send me details and maybe some links of the clubs.
Cheers!

..and a small Work to change the exhaust 😊

@fartymarty, I presume he think on BrExit 😏
