Help...I need some help`
« on: May 27, 2011, 06:08:53 AM »
Crazy Connie Crew:
I am going to need a case for my bike, since I'm NEW to this sport touring game I need suggestions, (I've already decided Phils rack will grace the bike).  What should I buy?

I would go with the Givi 55, good looking case, a lot better looking than the 52 I have and Phils rack is the only way to go, imho anyway

Not advocating any particular case, but I'm still happy with the Coocase.  Attached is the Google Cache version of the review / write up I did, and the rest of that thread, from the pre-crash site (unzip, and open the file in your web browser).

I went with a Givi V46 with a matching BLUE cover. The 55L seemed too big for my tastes. And a smaller top case limits how much stuff my wife can bring along and how many souvenirs she can buy, thereby saving me money and aggravation  ;D

Still takes 2 helmets and not significantly smaller.

Since your already going to get a Phil's rack. Also get the Givi kit for it from Phil. Then get yourself a Givi E55 Deluxe! A really nice case that comes with lots of extras at a cheaper price than seperate!

Givi E52 or E55 with Admore led kit. You can also consider going with Givi C-14 top case mount, instead of Phil's rack.

I recommend the JC Whitney large trunk, decent quality, watertight, very cheap price.  $79 and fits Phil's rack.  I love mine for the price.
