Banshee Horn, Plug & Play Screamer..
« on: October 10, 2012, 09:59:14 PM »
                                                 !!GROUP BUY!!

The Plug & Play Screamer combines the best of both worlds. With its unique design, it gives owners the peace of mind of having a super loud horn for emergencies, while still retaining their stock horn for everyday situations. No extra buttons are required; just tap your normal horn button for a polite beep, or hold the horn button to BLAST the super loud horn. For added visibility, the system automatically flashes your high beam lights when activated.

I purchased the first edition of this horn, The Banshee Screamer, and I'm willing to pick-up
two of these for my autos. DAMN loud! Looking to do a GROUP BUY, need 10 total, and since
I'll take two, we need 8 more to do the deal. The intro price is $79.00 if it's done individually,
but the group price will only be $59.00, plus shipping to your door from mine once they
arrive in the projected December timeline. Check it out here, and let me know if you're in!

How much smaller is it than the airhorns folks are needing to split to find room for?

Do you have pics of the installation?  Ok, just realized that you have a C10.  If someone has pics of a C14 installation that would be beneficial.

Hey guys, here is their website, it may answer some questions that you have. As for split systems, yes, they have them, but that's not
part of this group buy. I would not hesitate on that purchase if that's what you want, quality system with the headlight modulator built in.
I have an email out to them, and waiting on a response shortly, so I'll be able to answer the questions I was sent. I'll be back to all tonight (late, I start at 11pm).

Don't want a split system, hence my size question.

Ref the OP link that will bolt to the open threaded hole on the right side just aft of where the hidden bolt is for the right side fwd fairing.  Twisted Throttle shows a picture on their site under the Stebel Nautilus.  They have an install link with photos.  I mounted my Bad Boy in that location.

I believe that this model is smaller than the Stebel, here's a pic
comparing the size with an iphone..

I'm not going to request payments just yet, I'm still waiting on a response from Banshee for any shipping charges for the ten units,
but I don't remember having to pay s&h on my first order, but I'll let you all know as soon as I do. Please be patient with me, as I work the graveyard
shift, and won't respond during normal hours unless I get back to my insomniac state..Boy, I hate those..

Some of my responses maybe cut and paste, since I have this on both sites, and some of the questions and concerns are similiar.

I wanted this system but decided to buy a Bad Boy at my local Advance Auto.  If I did not need it ASAP I would have waited.  I do have to say that the upgraded horn was well worth the purchase.  I used it three times on my recent trip and it was VERY effective.  I left my stock horn in place as well so I have both.

Ok, I received a reply from Banshee, and the shipping works out to just a buck per unit, but that's to my house. I'll be going to the post office
in the morning to get a close estimate as to shipping the units to the members.

Alrighty, I stopped by the post office to check on a shipping price, and what I see is $11.45 to anywhere in the US. I think I can do better,
so give me another few days to try.

I dont know how they come boxed when you purchase them, but I would think that the Post Office has a Priority Mail Flat Rate box that would work and those would be under $10.
