"Red Dawn"
« on: December 09, 2012, 07:52:27 AM »
Saw the remake of Red Dawn last night.  Being my most favorite movie of all times, I was hesitant.

Not to bad.  It wasn't as good as the first, but at least it wasn't an embarassment to the name.

The movie was actually made about 3 years ago and just released now. I'm not in any hurry to see it myself.

I also heard they change the enemy from China to N. Korea so the Chinese wouldn't be offended.

Really? I didn't hear that. Interesting. How do they figure that it would be somewhat plausible that N. Korea could secretly attack us without our knowing beforehand? I, know, I know, theatrical license. Guess I got to see it huh?

Was a good movie.  I was hoping the end would be a nuclear holocaust in N Korea. But nope, those hollywood types are against anything that may harm the atmosphere   :D
