True story. A friend of mine was raised in Kansas. When they were growing up, everyone in town had a mule, it was like a mule club. They would all get together and ride them. Not unlike us with our bikes.
In the dead of winter, he told me the mule would stay in the kitchen when the temps got real low.
This is me as he was telling me all about it.  I swear, I could hardly breathe from laughter.
I called BS on it, and then he breaks out the photos!

Not exactly, I borrowed one for our Grand Canyon adventure. I have tons of pics, I'll post some up when we get back home.

It was 113 in northern Oklahoma yesterday. At one point we had to stop at a rest area to let the dogs out. There was a nice wind blowing but it was like the hot air blast you feel when you're standing in front of a hot oven when you open the door.
