Title: Dyno results?
Post by: feelergaugephil on December 05, 2012, 08:13:09 PM
This January my local dealer is doing half off Dyno's...
Anyone else had there's done? figures?
I'm interested, I have 2 brothers slip on and K/N air filter, wondering what kind of results I'm looking at above stock!

In the end, it will still cost you full price to find out.  One session with the bike stock, another with the changes, if you really want to know how much difference the changes made.  Of course that's better than 2X the cost.

I have dual 2Bros slip ons with ZX-14 header, and K&N filter.  Not sure it make enough difference in power to reliably measure.

Well, it's been proven that a K&N actually flows less air than a stock elemenent on a flow bench. A slip on probably has negligable gains at best. Personally, I would not waste the money on the dissapointment.

Replacing a muffler and an air filter won't make any significant difference from just stock.  Well, other than being louder.

You seem to be doing that a lot here lately, Poke.  You may want to invest in a rubber helmet.
