I saw that guy give an interview something like 30 years ago. Fantastic story and I guess he was a celebrity in Germany, at least some time ago.
It is people like this who offset the ones we all too often see in the news. :-( I like to think that on balance, while there are probably more of the other type of people, this type has much more of a lasting, and positive, impact.
