Well I'm sad to say that I have to sell the Connie.  It's been incredible, but tough times dictate that she must go. I'm in the Nashville, TN area.  I changed the oil every 2500 miles.  The recall on the rear brake has been completed.  Just replaced the right mirror under warranty.  She's purty, only two small chips on the tank.  $7400 OBO

-12,600 miles
-Cee Bailey's Euro with light tint
-1.75in HeliBars
-Alaskan Sheep Seat Cover
-Grip Puppies
-15 months of original factory warranty left

Thanks for the sentiment guys...things will get better eventually. And then I will probably have to acquire a ZX-14 or an updated Connie. 8)  I have one potential buyer so far, seems like a good guy so hopefully he will pick her up. Although, I'm not sure I can ever respect her again once some other guy rides her...

$ 7000 seems like a very reasonable price.  I have an identical bike, except somewhat lower mileage and no scuffs or nicks and was offered $ 7k on trade from a dealer over the phone.  Where did you buy that sheepskin seat cover?

If he wouldn't go from $6750 to $7000 that means he was probably blowing smoke and didn't have the cash to do the deal.  Just another tire kicker.............  ::)

I think you're probably right.  And thanks ZG...he needed it lol!

I have another guy from the Knoxville area that seems like he's very interested.  We will do the sell on Friday if he likes the additional pics.  Prayers requested!  Although, it still bugs me to sell her....man this sucks. It's like selling a dog you really love and have grown attached to...:-[

Wow.  This is kind of discouraging.  I have an 09 with about 6500 miles and I thought it would be worth about $8000-8500.  What gives with not being able to get $7k? :o
