Now you've done it.  I've got to order the DVDs so I can kick back, drink beer, and remember my childhood.

Weren't the "Thunderbirds" marionettes, not puppets right?  Can't remember the difference. They freaked me out anyway, I didn't like them.

Watched the movie Non-Stop last night. This movie was rated highly at IMDB (7 outta 10 stars) and at Amazon (4 outta 5 stars). Normally I really like Liam Neeson but not in this movie! I have to wonder if the folks who rated this POS so highly watched the same movie that I did? Terrible directing and wooden acting. Plot holes so large that you could fly a jumbo jet though 'em.   :thumbdown

For those interested in this sort of thing, I think that I had relatives on both sides (US and UK) in that war, there's a store in England that will export the chocolate to the US.  Once I get the link, I'll post it here.  I plan on getting a few bars.

Something I didn't know was that there is a chapter of the Royal Legion in the US..  I've donated to them.

And of course, for our dear Canadian brethren  http://www.legion.ca/

And here is the making of that ad...  I thank Debs (UK forum) for bringing this one to light..  Brought me to tears, it did, without having any drink at all.  And it still does every time I watch it.

Chocolate can be ordered from here.. http://www.britsuperstore.com/acatalog/Sainsbury_Chocolate.html

Watched the movie Lone Survivor last night.

Based on The New York Times bestselling true story of heroism, courage and survival, Lone Survivor tells the incredible tale of four Navy SEALs on a covert mission to neutralize a high-level al-Qaeda operative. The four men must make an impossible moral decision in the mountains of Afghanistan that leads them into an enemy ambush. As they confront unthinkable odds, the SEALs must find reserves of strength and resilience to fight to the finish. Academy Award nominee Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter) leads an all-star cast including Taylor Kitsch (Savages), Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma), Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild), and Eric Bana (Munich) in a movie hailed by critics as “unforgettable, tense, and inspiring.” (Movieline)

Great movie and very well done. A warning though, some scenes are VERY intense. My wife almost couldn't take it as some scenes were so intense they had her trembling.
