Hey, we agree! ;D OK, here's more.

Drivers that drift out in the opposite direction across center or lane lines before turning in the desired direction. For instance, drifting left before turning right. Needed on a truck, but not a Chevy sedan. That, and staying in your lane when turning.

...OR

When they turn onto a multi-lane street, not turning into the closest lane, but instead crossing (at least one) lanes to get to the lane they want.

AND

The idiot that almost hits you because they did the above but found you in the lane (correctly) and then yell and flip you the bird because you had the unmitigated gall to infringe on the lane they were improperly aiming towards...      This just happened to me 30 minutes ago...

OK. I feel better now.

How about the dumb **** in the Honda Accord yesterday that came to a complete stop in the center of three lanes on a freeway, because he didn't want to miss his exit. Forcing the cars following him to scatter into lanes 1 and 3 and nearly into me as I rode into work.

Not even as close to cranky as I would be to open the mailbox, find NO SPOTs, and already have paid for it back in October.... which is where I am now. Not really cranky about the payment part, I can always go to the plastic money people and get that reversed. It is the device that I wanted and the ability to stick to the deal we made regarding money for product.

They are all lucky I don't send Kirby in to see them about this whole thing but then I would probably be charged with using a biological weapon or some such.  :yikes:  But ya' gotta' admit it would almost be worth it to see the look on the person's face who opened the box marked RMA #Kirby   ;D

Brian

*wonders how cranky Brian will be once he finally opens that mailbox to find, not one, but two SPOT locators. Furthermore, both have been charged to his card*

You didn't tell us the important part Brent: did he make his exit or not? Inquiring minds demand knowing....

And on that same note, he is probably telling stories right now about the insane cars and the one motorcycle pouring past him at a scary rate of speed, all of which were in HIS way of getting off HIS exit, from HIS lane.  ;)

Yes sadly there was enough of a break in traffic after the initial few cars scattered that he was able to exit making a 90 degree turn from the middle of the freeway. I guss the next exit that was about 500 feet away was not good enough for him.

Funniest part is, the bottom of that exit ramp is SFPD.

Who'd a thunk the next possible U turn would be in the middle of the highway? The things you learn by trying....

Yeah, right up there with the right hand exit from the left hand lane :-(

There is a highway split near me that surprises people all the time; they are on I-95 heading south WHEN SUDDENLY they are on RI- 4 heading south where it forks off (easy boys!). Fortunately it is a fairly long, shallow 'Y' with just enough time to cut off two lanes of traffic to 'stay' on I-95 if you are quick and alert (but not alert enough to notice the gigantic signs pointing out the left lanes 'exit only' exit coming up). My brother actually hit surprised driver executing said maneuver at what looked like a 30 degree angle and rolled the car two times in the process (the hittee's car, not my brother or the hitter's car). I will not ride around that gentle curve with any cars ajacent to me on my left for exactly that reason and that was not a lesson I learned from my brother's experience.

There seems to be three general areas that people have trouble with regarding driving on the highway. 1) getting on the highway 2) getting off the highway and 3) the part in- between #'s 1 and 2.   >:(   I wouldn't mind so much but it is really tough to get a scratched fender when riding a motorcycle.

Food Lion, they make me crazy.   The only reason I go to ours is that it's basically across the street.  We've be going to this store since 1999.  Two weeks ago they decide to move things all around.  I can't find  :censored: now.  I asked one of the checkout people has anyone given any positive feedback on this switch around.  The answer was as I expected......no.  Food Lion is on the top of my list as grocery stores to avoid if at all possible.  I've got to find a thumbs down smiley....   :thumbdown :thumbdown

People who litter.

Why can't they throw away their trash properly?

I've collected barrels of empty cans, bottles, coffee cups, fast food wrappers and associated trash from a section of my property along the road in the last 11 years.   I would like all those litterbugs, especially the A&W Diet Root beer drinker, to have the image of the crying Indian in that old TV commercial permanently burnt into their nightmares forever!

At least up our way, when they were still in business, Winn Dixie was shades and above Food Lion.  We had one up here and it closed years ago.  Are they still in business?  Ok, just looked.  They were bought out by BI-LO, which I remember from living in SC was a decent grocery store at the time.  Don't know how it is now.  There are still WD stores but probably a lot further south than they used to be.  I don't think that there are any in VA anymore.
