Cape Fear 1000 Ride Report
« on: May 29, 2011, 06:06:31 PM »
Back in April, I participated in the Cape Fear 1000 28-hour endurance rally.  This was the first year with the C-14 (other years have been on a 2003 Suzuki Volusia), for those that ride these rallies, Jim Bain's reputation as being one great (and difficult) Rallymaster is well earned and respected.  For those that are interested in reading a little bit about this madness that goes on during a 28-hour ride (with a required, minimum 3 hour rest period), my write up can be found at:

Enjoy.

That was a pretty good read.  Sounds like it was fun.  Not sure my butt would support it though.  :)

Thanks.  I really enjoy these rallies - they have allowed me to see parts of the country I don't think I would have ever traveled to on my own.
