Title: Rear Tire sensor TPMS 315 MHZ
Post by: dinok55 on December 18, 2012, 12:49:57 PM
I have put on new rear tire and since there here is no rear tire pressure display.  How do you check whether is a battery or malfunction of the sensor?

If it worked before you changed the tire, then it probably got broken during the deinstallation or installation of the new tire.

What Jim said, plus.

Did you ride the bike after the new tire install?

+1

Don't let them tell you you have to buy a whole new TPS either. In the middle of the film on this thread is the part # for the valve stem if The TPS is not totally destroyed. Or find the right angle ones that Conrad posted on this thread.

Hopefully whoever changed your tire will fess up to the mistake. This happened to me on my trip last year.

Yes, I rode the bike after putting on new rear tire and immediately noticed the malfunction of the sensor.
