Title: EBC V-Pads Semi-sintered Touring Bike Pads
Post by: Y0ssarian on December 10, 2018, 02:11:23 PM
Has anyone tried the new EBC V-pads on the rear of their Concours? I need to replace the pads on mine and was thinking about trying them. I'm not after more stopping power; quite the opposite, I wouldn't mind a little less power, but would love some more "feel". I found the stockers and the EBC HH pads both are hard to modulate...every once in a while I wonder why the rear is hanging out under braking and then realize I'm the reason!

Who knows? Give it a try . On my katana 1100 I only use organic. They are cheap , quiet, easy on the rotors and above all, offer great feedback.
The drawback to organics is that they don’t take heat as well. On the c14, this could be an issue. Those EbC pads could be a nice compromise .
It’s worth noting that you should change brake fluid yearly as that will improve feel, make brakes feel more linear than on and off.
Fwiw, I am happy with my carbone Lorraine pads and yearly change of Motul high temp brake fluid.
