The problem with Ducati's is that they look so good, I feel like I need to wash it. I've only had this bike for less than 3 months and I've only put 4000 miles on it so far but have already washed it twice! My C14 only got washed once a year... maybe. Do I have a problem?

"Do I have a problem"
Yes, you don't wash your Connie enough. Ya gotta spread the love before jealousy take over.

My 2002 Suzuki DR650 has never been washed! I guess I'm going to have to get the hose out more often.

Good looking bike, for sure, but a fairer comparison with your C14 would be if you didn't wash the Duc for a year.
Re. the DR650 doesn't the owners manual forbid washing the off-road cred/crud off the bike? ;D

I not sure if it forbids it but I think it might say something like: "in the event of a clean bike, get to the dirt/mud as soon as possible..." ;D

lol. Unfortunately, my dog lives by those instructions.
