Title: Idaho & Wyoming Trip; maybe Colorado too
Post by: Rony6ble on April 16, 2015, 08:48:44 PM
Next ride is to:
Option 1: Idaho and Wyoming coming from Phoenix, Arizona.
Weather predictions for Utah, Idaho (up to the border) and Wyoming are not bad for the coming week, low 40's to high 60's. Yellowstone park seams to be colder (low: 20-24; high: 46-55).
Option 2: NM, CO, WY
My question is about ice on the road. I would like to make it back to AZ riding and not sliding. I have never ridden a motorcycle on ice and I'm not planning to...
All comments and help is welcomed
Thanks...

IMHO, it's way too early in the year to go to Colorado.  Hell, I've been through the Heber area the last week of April andthere was snow along side the road.

Thanks for the comments. One image says more the 1000 words. Guess I have to wait a bit longer to go north.
Was in Heber, Ganado and Chinle, AZ last week, no snow, no rain, some wind, high 40's low 80's.
Maybe East is my destiny next week.

I'm told it snowed around Ogden this week. Either way, the good mountain passes in northern Utah and Idaho are going to be closed for a little while yet.
