2012 arabian red concours for sale in Ohio
« on: March 21, 2012, 04:18:05 AM »
Found out it is just not the bike for me, will probably go with a touring cruiser.Am asking my payoff of 12,500. I have added the, fender extender, bar risers with GPS mount, tank protector, bag protectors, Cox radiator guard, and Grip puppies. Bike has  2700 miles on it and has had the 600 mile service already performed.Bike has not been dropped or wrecked. Bike is located in southwest Ohio near Dayton, Ohio. This ad is updated from my original post date because I could not get the post to delete to show my new price so I had to edit my original.

I think he was asking what kind of touring bike you are going to get next?

Good luck on the sale.

It's really too bad you can't test ride most of the Japanese bikes before you buy them.

Test rode a 2012 Roadglide Ultra and an Ultra Limited. We both really liked the roadglide ultra. It handled very well and was very comfortable.I reallly like the power of the Connie but like they say " If momma isn't happy ain't nobody happy"

Have looked at both and have rode the new BMW 1600 GTL and liked it but a lack of dealer support in my area and the maintenance costs on the bike are too much for me.The goldwing just didn't feel like a good fit for me.As far as the Harley touring bikes, you should really ride one before you make an assumption about them. I was quite suprised about the comfort and ride quality and the price is very comporable and the dealer support is very good. I will say that I do not care for the batwing fairing as it seems to add too much weight on the forks but the frame mounted fairing on the roadglide handled great and just seemed like a better fit for me. To each his own.

A RoadKing was the only bike I could get my wife comfortable on. Then I crashed it. She won't ride the Connie. Or it might be me. ::)

Good luck with the sale, the Roadglide is the only HD I would own and they have made a lot of improvements in the last 3 years.

I like the Roadglide better than any other Harley. The funny thing is that all of the salesmen say that the Roadglide has the least amount of sales because people want the old style look. They do not care about if it handles better.I thought it handled great compared to the fork mounted fairing bikes, which makes sense.I have heard that the fork mounted fairings weigh about 30lbs. I know the counter steering was very sluggish in comparison.

Give Victory a shot, they are really starting to take some Harley riders away.

I rode a 2011 Victory Cross Country a couple months ago and it blew away the Harley Road Glide that I rode a time or two (2010 that my buddy wanted me to see how "great" it was  ::) ).  Much smoother, more power and the fit and finish was also superior IMHO.

I really like the looks of the Corbin Trunk.  I have the GIVI and like it but I think the Corbin just gives a much nicer appearance.    Good luck with the sale.  I will also be listing my 2011 For Sale in the next couple of weeks.   Good luck.

I have a new lowered price on the Concours. Wanting to give someone a good deal on it instead of trading it in at the dealership. $12,500

that is a beautiful bike, I am in love with my 08 or I would consider going newer just for the color ...or the ABS.  ;D Hope you get it sold to someone who really enjoys it.

I got to ride my buds new Victory Cross Country Tour this last weekend. If I had to have a big bagger that would be the one. Way bigger than my Mean Streak but beautifully balanced and the motor pulls really well. Had it out on the Illinois TOllway and it was impressive. Cases are huge and amenities are nice. I Liked it much better than anything in the Harley line I have been on. He tried Harley and even tested the Vaquero/Voyager in the Kawi line but he saved some cash going with the Victory ( and IMHO got a much better product)  that he put into gear and bag liners.. 8).
