Grab Rails??? Year specific?

Looking to buy a set of grab rails off ebay and I've noticed that they are listing what year of bike they came off of.

The question, Will any grab rail for a c10, 1986 to 2006, fit on my 2000 connie?

I don't think you're right. I believe the '95 grab rails are lighter, therefore making the Connie a wee bit quicker from a stop. They make a world of difference.  ::)
