buck thirty+ cart wheels on a ZX7...
« on: September 12, 2012, 07:54:53 PM »
Ok, I'll post this here instead of jacking up that other thread...

Mama found the pics and I just scanned em in (back then we didn't have digital camera's, at least not us), I was off by a year though in that other thread, it was actually May 6 of 2000, mama is good about labeling...  :)

Anyways, here's what a ZX7 looks like before and after doing buck thirty+ end over end cartwheels across a run-off field when you miss turn 1 at Spokane due to a false nuetral...

Sorry, she couldn't find my helmet pics but it totally looked like a little kid banged it on the street non-stop for an hour...  ;)

Started out as another beautiful track day...  :)

Ended bad though...  :(

Back wheel totally snapped during the cartwheels, they had to just drag her to the pit... :'(

My bro (even still today) "Big E", aka EDR... He built the bike for me, I think he's saying something like... "I can fix that"...  ;D

(me sitting far right seeing stars like the dude on the cartoons when he gets smashed by a boulder...)

At least you walked away.  The bike doesn't look that bad for getting put through the ringer.
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

Yes agreed Jeremy, walking away is always a good thing!  :)

It bent not only the sub-frame but also the main frame...  :o

Total loss...  :'(

So, a shiny (chrome like surfaces) bike and now a black bike.  I'm starting to sense a trend here.  How do you feel about leather (black)?  If we see tassles on your bike yer banned for life ;)

Holy Kaw!  Darn glad you made it through that escapade!  I didn't realize that was you until I re-read the thread again.  :yikes:
