Title: Greetings from Northwestern Vermont
Post by: VTer Bob on May 29, 2014, 05:59:56 PM
New to the forum. I just bought a 1999 ZG1000 to replace a 1982 KZ1000 LTD. They may have the same displacement but the Connie has a much higher pucker factor...

So far I love the bike and I am looking forward to being a member here. Your forum is very highly recommended by some members on the KZ Rider forum I belong to.

Welcome to the forum. I used to visit IBM in Burlington for work and would always stay at The Essex and enjoy the excellent food from the culinary students.

Merci to my neighbor to the north!

Tim, yes I have heard of (and seen) Waylon Speed. Have you heard of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals?

Rhino, The Essex and the culinary students are still there and doing a bang up job. To bad the same can't be said for Big Blue's plant. It's for sale. They have less than half the employees they did at their peak.

One of the best live shows ive ever seen, and got to talk with the guys afterwards and bought them a beer. I its about all ill listen to now, i bought every CD they had with them at the show.

Welcome.  I camped on Grand Isle Memorial day and rode the northern roads I read about in Roadrunner magazine.

Back in the day, when I worked for IBM in Manassas, VA, I worked on the tools for the Burlington chips (not the ones you eat).  Also did it for the Fishkill plant as well.

Me too. I worked for Cadence Design Systems and they use our tools for IC design.
