Motels near St Louis, Mo.
« on: May 10, 2012, 06:42:18 PM »
I have a meeting in downtown St Louis next month, I plan to ride up from central Arkansas and was thinking of staying around Arnold, Mo. south of the city on I-55 (don't really want to stay in downtown). Anyone know if this is a safe area to park a bike overnight at a motel. Thanks.

Arnold would be fine or just north of at Butler Hill exit.  What part of down town stlouis will you be in?
I work down town near the ball park.

55 north to Truman the center lane of 55 becomes Truman  turn right on Lafaye Ave to Tucker /12street left on Tucker to Chestnut right on Chestnut.  Chestnut is oneway east.  to get back on 55 you can take 8th street south to 7th street to the on ramp move over 3 lanes and you on 55 south
