How about a game...
« on: January 12, 2016, 07:30:57 PM »
Bike up for maintenance with the onset of nasty cold.  Going well, but looking at it in the garage, cover off, makes me realize what a good looking machine it is.  Makes me realize how I am jonesing.  Makes me realize cabin fever is real.

So how about this - one pic from last summer a quickie report about that pic.  As it stands, I have two ideas for my long trip this summer, but nothing settled yet!  Inspiration.

HWY 95 in Utah.  Close to 30 years since I've been here.  Nice and easy and wayyy too many picture stops.  One of the few days on my trip I don't really feel I rushed at all.  Not too hot to enjoy.  Vastness really made itself known to me.  For this pic, I went several hunred feet off road on the red shale.  Water break.  Couldn't stop looking around.  You know how it is.  Just love the layers and layers of landscape.

Colorado Hwy 92 along the north rim of the Black Canyon. I had limited vacation time so I left the C14 at home in Austin, flew to Denver and borrowed my old Valk from my son in law to ride for 5 days with my brothers.

Mind cleansing view from the Blue Ridge Parkway this past September, at the time it was warm and sunny. Great trip, hardly any hurricanes this year.

Since Rhino opened the door to non-C14's ... and since I see a ZX14R snuck into jimmymac's post ... here's another Blue Ridge Parkway shot:

Quinalt Rain Forest in the Olympic National Park. One day in my 10 days of riding from Central California to farthest north spot of Orcas Island, Washington and then back. Amazing beautiful scenery and lots of wonderful roads. My second "big" adventure on the Concours.
Life is too short to live the same day twice.

Wow! You don't see too many C14 trikes.
