C10 Drivers Backrest (SOLD)
« on: August 22, 2011, 09:29:43 AM »
I have a C10 Drivers Backrest For Sale
I have used it a few times on both my Connies, absolutly nothing wrong with it, I just don't use it anymore.
Side slides mount to the Pass. grab bars, main bkrst slides into the tubes and using a cresent, you tighten the bolt at the forward tube to lock down.
It can slide almost 6", so depending on what you are transposting, it can adjust.
There is also a pouch on the back that zips up for storage of whatever will fit.
The black vinly is in perfect shape, no cuts, or damage anywhere, and the chrome looks brand new.
You will need to drill the front of the grab bars to insert a bolt and nut to hold the slide brackets, and then just a couple of tie dows on the rear of the slide bracket and grab bars to lock it in place.
Asking $75 plus shipping to your location in NA.
Check the pics, and e-mail me or call me if you have any questions.

Everyone ride safe,
Greg

OK NOW, someone can use this.

Uhhhhhhhhhh.
Me. I found a backrest at a swap meet, it had the chrome tubes, but they were to long. I trimmed them down and added the black down pieces, wrapped them around the chrome bar, and locked them in place with an allen bolt.
When it is mounted, the end of the slider tubes are held over the rear of the grab bars by a couple of zip ties.
Hope that is what you needed to hear.
Let me know please.
Ride safe all.
Greg

No problme ATC, It is set up to work with the stock seat. I don't know much about the aftermarket seats, but if they are the same width as stock, this should fit.
Ride safe all.

Interesting, looks sorta like what my contraption looked like. That backrest looks like it came off a 70's-80's CB

Eddie,
As I said, I got it at a swap meet and did some modification to fit my Connie.
I'm still hoping someone will need some support.
Ride safe all, maybe with a new backrest, and ATGATT please.   ;D

I'll bump one more time here.
Shipping is a real question mark, so I have adjusted the price to compensate.
Totally adjustable for passenger or loaded up.
Someone needs this, let me know.
Ride safe all, and ATGATT please.

Duke,
Yes it is, drop me a pm with your address and I can give you an idea of shipping. I won't kid you though, the odd box size makes it interesting.
Thanks,
Greg

Cool idea...NOT doing any drilling on mine, or I would be interested.
That may explain the lack of interest.
