I would put "MAKE ME AN OFFER, PLEASE USE PM" in much bigger letters and maybe also in red. Of course a starting price for the rest might not be a bad idea either.

Any interest in parting anything out? I'd be interested in a few of the items on it.

All I can say is, I am glad he did, because I am the lucky son-of-a-gun that bought it!  ;D
It is in pristine shape and the new set of Michelin PR2's really make it smooth. I have had two Goldwings and an ST-1300 (among others), but this Concours is by far the most powerful & fun of them all. I just hope I have sufficient will-power and self-control to keep it tame enough to avoid long conversations with LEO's...or worse.

I am also quite happy with all the great farkles and mods he spent so much time installing. The work is all first-rate and there are only a couple of things on my short list to consider.
One is some highway pegs. I've been in touch with the guys from Mick-o-Pegs and although they expressed interest earlier considering making them for the C-14, I haven't heard from them recently. So, I will most likely be looking for viable pegs that will mount on the Canyon Cage fairing guards.
The other is to decide whether or not to remove the Phil's wedges in an attempt to widen the handlebar grips a bit. My concern is that I will also lose an inch or so of rise if they do come out, and at this point, I'm not sure if giving that up is worth it.  I am giving my body some time to adapt to see if these old muscles can relearn a new riding position so that money & time can be spent on other matters, like a drink holder & smartphone mounting system.

Based on input from Ryan at MC Enterprises, I ordered some highway pegs and brackets from RIVCO  http://www.rivcoproducts.com/  for my Canyon Cages.
The ones I ordered are sku: PEGSBK and the clamps are sku: CLMP1BK.  I have not yet received them, but the info I was able to dig up from other Concours owners was positive.

Congrats on the new bike!  I bought a 47L trunk from Robert, and he is a class act     ... I'm sure you'll be very happy with your purchase!!

Thanks for that info, it is greatly appreciated. What did you use for a mounting arm/bracket, or does the foot peg directly mount to the clamp?
I hope you have received your shipment by now so you can share your thoughts on it in the farkle forum. (I'll stop hijacking Robert's thread)
Thanks again!

I emailed RIVCO and the pegs are back-ordered...long trip starting Tuesday..FML  :(

I believe that the pegs mount directly to the brackets which clamp onto the cages.  I received the brackets and they are VERY heavy duty!!

Rivco has been exceptional with their communication, and very apologetic about the delay in delivery

I'll post more after I receive them in a couple weeks.

Cheers!

B Bagger,
It was a very nice bike and I did not buy it to keep for 6 months. It was the 3rd Kawasaki I'd owned, so was no newby there. (last one was a 1600 Nomad) I rode every day commuting to work for nearly six months, many mods and 4500 miles before I decided to go back to my RT. The Connie was intoxicatingly fast and smooth and had many excellent features, but for me, the RT, with all it's BMW woes, is a better fit for personal comfort and ride.

To all,
I've sold several bikes before, and it can be a painful process, with the money transfer and the viewings and demo's, but Brad made the sale of my Connie a no stress event, and a great acquaintance was made.

Thanks for the comments, Brad and Steve.  (I think as a new Connie owner, Brad's biggest problem for a while is going to be keeping the bugs off the teeth from that big smile)

LOL,
Thank God love-bug season is over!
She runs like a dream and my wife even likes how it looks. She asked me if I thought it was better looking than my Goldwing. I answered that my Goldwing was pretty, but this Connie is sexy. I try to keep the discussions on this new bike focused on the looks. If she knew just how fast this thing is, she would hide ALL of my key fobs!

Speaking of speed, I think I was going too fast during the test ride you took me on. I managed to swerve around the washouts and rough spots on that bad stretch, but at one point we came upon a dead skunk-(gotta love Florida road kill). I think I failed to miss all of it because every time I have my face up in the radiator area I get that faint funky skunky smell.  :o

What a great bike though, and I got to use that air horn for the first time today. Some nut-job on US1 was merging. I was in the left lane and I could just tell by the way he kept drifting across the right and center lanes that he was in his own little world. As he continued "merging" into my space, I laid on that horn for a full 15 seconds. He took off like a scalded ape, so I'm hoping he was at least embarassed!  >:(
