« on: February 03, 2014, 03:00:59 PM »

I ordered up some stuff on Saturday for some upcoming tweaks I'm going to do to my set of black bodywork...  ;) ;D

I'll start this thread as a place to post up some pics as it comes together...  8) :chugbeer:

Ya, but the good thing is this time it won't be too much out of pocket $ but yet still fun to do, plus I think it might give folks some ideas on easy (lower cost) ways to add a couple custom touch's to their Connie's.  ;) :) :chugbeer:

Not a fan of black bikes in the least bit, but with those wheels it would no doubt be popular in San Francisco. ;)

Which makes the previous mention of swordplay even more disturbing! :o

Well, he does live in the Portland 'Burbs.  If you haven't visited Portland you will NOT understand :o  SanFran and Seattle takes their cues from Portland, IOW they are simple posers, whereas the Portlandiers actually live it as a matter of day to day life.

Back on topic, Jay, of all the things you have done, that color is just off somehow and I have a hard time seeing a color combo that will work.  It just seems almost pastel in nature.

Well, I guess it's a good thing that it's my bike and not yours then eh Chet.  ;) ;D :chugbeer:

If it turns out as I hope then I think it will be pretty cool, but if you guys don't think so then that's cool too, seems I've had many other past mods that everyone else thought would suck and then after the fact they actually liked...  :-\ :) :chugbeer:
